Meetings with Suncoast Linux User Group (SLUG)

Since finding a regular meeting place has been elusive, SLUG has invited us to join in their meetings. Which works out really well since they have meeting rooms in both St. Pete and Tampa. Our first presentation will be next Wednesday July 21st at 7:00pm.

Lots of interest this week and Facebook group

Well we seemed to have generated a lot of interest this week. So let's get this started back up again.

I've also started a Facebook group http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=326993921729. If you are on Facebook go and sign up. I'll be sending event notifications on there also.

Anyone with thoughts about the meeting schedule, pass it along. I would like to make this work for everyone.

Meeting schedule suggestions:
It needs to be a consistent and simple formula for the date. ex Last Thursday of the month, The 5th of each month, ....

Meeting schedule nice to have opinions on:
I prefer 1 each of a social and technical meeting a month.
Do you have a thought about a presentation - tell me.

Notes for April 2009 Technical Meeting

Well we had a pretty poor turnout to the 1st technical meeting, but we were able to turn it into something quite good. We decided not to do the planned presentations and focus on the turn out (or lack there of). So it turned into a TBPM cabal marketing meeting.
